As the play's title suggests, audience members are asked to consider what it would be like if Jesus were captured in the Middle East as an unlawful enemy combatant and detained at Guantanamo Bay. With an at times humorous take on serious subjects, Matthew Vaky's character explores the nature of torture and his time with biblical figures such as Peter and Mary Magdalene.

Fourth Annual Semper Fi 5K

The Semper Fi Fund benefits Marines, Sailors, and members of other armed forces who were injured in post 9/11 combat or training. Proceeds also help families of those affected who have hospitalization and recovery financial issues.

This year's race at Anacostia Park will be capped at 1,000 participants, so get in your registration now. National park regulations prohibit same-day registration. The final day for registration is Friday, May 17.
